Frequently Asked Questions

Here, you'll find insights into the purpose, process, and benefits of life coaching, designed to illuminate how this empowering partnership can drive you towards your life goals.

Who benefits from Life Coaching?

Everyone can benefit from Life Coaching. Most often it is most advantageous for individuals over the age of 16 but with lots of other things in life, there are always exceptions!

Why do you use emotional intelligence (EQ-i) assessments in your coaching practice?

I use emotional intelligence (EQ) assessments because they’re scientifically backed tools that provide insights into managing emotions, making decisions, and connecting with others. Assessments like the EQ-i 2.0 or EQ 360 can highlight your strengths and reveal areas where you may feel challenged. This will help us focus on strategies that build self-awareness, improve your communication, and help you respond more effectively to life’s challenges. By better understanding your unique emotional patterns, I can create a coaching plan that supports your personal growth.

How a typical Coaching session will run?

During a typical session, my clients and I connect either in person or via Zoom. We start by discussing what's top of mind for them—whether it's a struggle, life transition, retirement, family matter, job opportunity, relationship, body image, lifestyle change, upcoming special occasion, or any other concern.

Then, we partner and delve into a series of questions to explore their feelings about the situation, opportunity, or life transition. We explore potential outcomes and discuss any obstacles that may be hindering their progress and collaborate on the steps the client wants to take, focusing on those that energize them and align with their goals for moving forward.

How do you prepare for your 1st Coaching session?

Before our session, I'll send you a few questions to consider. Simply reflect on these questions, from there we simply work together, no other prep is required.

What types of subjects can you bring to a Coaching session?

Any subject that you’re working through at the time, such as:

  • a wellness goal or health issues

  • a family or relationship issue

  • a communication challenge

  • a career or professional development opportunity or challenge
